ZIA MORANNE read music at Oxford University as an instrumental scholar, and completed her studies at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, winning the Edith Vogel Prize. After touring Europe with Glyndebourne Opera coach, Prof. Paul Hamburger, Zia concentrated on composing, drawing on her classical training and combining it with her love of jazz, pop and world music. Zia has since written extensively for theatre, film and advertising.
ADAM MCGUINNESS read music at London University, Royal Holloway and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, focusing on jazz, music technology and piano. After finishing his studies, he went on to work for a number of years as a freelance musical director. His speciality lies in the fusion of traditional music styles with contemporary ones and he has arranged and featured on numerous jazz and dance albums.
McGuinness & Moranne have extensive experience composing, arranging and performing music for theatre, film, advertising, computer games and corporate, as well as providing voiceovers, library music and arrangements for bespoke projects.
